I have found these two books that I am going to read for insight. I believe that the more knowledge that I have in this adventure I am on the better success I will have. having my teeth pulled really set me back more than I thought it was going to. That is okay, because I am giving myself plenty of time to transform myself in to a vegetarian. Raw foods may be where I end up in a year, but I am not totally sure if that is going to happen or not. The other hard part of this journey is going to be at my new job. We all eat together for all of the meals. I am sure I will find someway around it. Will that is all I have today. Happy eating and reading on this vegetarian life we can have.

Tonight is pork chop night at our house. I love pork chops. These nights are when it is going to be tough. So, instead of eating pork chops Brianna and I will get to chow down on a salad. I really started thinking why and how is this going to make a difference in my life and it came to me in church today. God wants us to sacrifice things for him. He has such a lovely gift for us if we are willing to have faith in him. Giving up a little bit of stuff to receive a whole lot back from him is will worth it. So, when I think of giving up a little bit of food to be a vegetarian and transform that into giving up things for Christ, it really is quite easy. God has a plan for you and I if we are willing to have faith in him. I believe that he has brought this diet to me to show me how powerful He really is when we are willing to put faith in him.  God Bless.

Today is the day. Brianna and I are now official on our way for the next year. It is going to take roughly around a month to get used to the idea of being a vegetarian, but I defiantly think it is going to be worth it in  the long run. I think with the help God, family, and friends we can do it. I am so excited in what the outcome is going to be that I almost can't wait to see what a difference this is going to make in both of our lives. Patience, diligence, and sacrifice are also keys to our success. I am glad that the Lord has brought this book in my life and the way my wife responds by wanting to be there for Brianna and I. Well that is all I have for today.

Today Brianna and I tried tofu sausage, almond butter, and coconut yogurt. My taste buds where like what are you doing to us. Brianna did not eat her food vary fast either. My son who never beats her in the eating department finished before her. The funny thing is that my wife cooked for all of us the same way, so everyone in the family had the same breakfast. The family is going to be more vegetarian than I would have imagined. I may have to rename my blog the vegetarian family. I guess in all reality it is hard to make so many individual meals. Will that is all I have for this day so far.

Now Brianna and I are coming down to just four days to go. We are starting to research recipes and different kinds of foods that we can chow down on. Just getting into the mind set of taking so many foods away that I have become accustomed too has been hard on my brain. I love sweets and one part of my diet is also to give up those things too. My diet doesn't follow the vegetarian diet totally in the fact that I have to give up other foods too. 95 percent of the diet I am going on is vegetarian and the other 5 percent is giving up sweets. Will that is about all for today.

Getting ready to take the first step of a trying a vegetarian diet. I was telling my wife about my choice and low and behold my thirteen year old daughter decided that she would join me on this journey. I really got interested in taking on this challenge due to my diabetes. What surprised me was the fact that my daughter wanted to take on this challenge also. I am happy that I don't have to go at this alone. My daughter, Brianna, and I will be starting this challenge on Saturday, July 14. Any vegetarians out there that could help us along the way with recipes and encouragement would be most appreciated.                                                                              Thanks,
